Creating Announcements

An Automated Attendant Announcement is the information you record for a caller
to hear. Once you create the Announcement, you can associate it with an Automated Attendant Main Menu or Submenu.
• Up to 99 Announcements can be recorded.
• Announcements can be up to four minutes in length (prior to Release 7.0, up to two minutes in length).
• The same Announcement can be used for more than one Main Menu or Submenu, and with more than one Automated Attendant.
• The factory-setting is “Announcement [nn] does not exist.”

If you want to listen to or modify an existing Announcement, go to Step 7. If you want to create a new Announcement, choose one of the following:

• Create Announcement.

• Listen to Announcement. If in Bilingual Mode, after pressing 2, go to Step 8.

• Modify Announcement. Go to Step 9.

• Record new Announcement; then after recording, press 1 and choose one of the following:
