Changing a Directory Listing or Recorded Name
Use this procedure to change the Directory Listing or Recorded Name for a Mailbox extension. You can also use this procedure to change the Directory Listing or Recorded Name for Transfer-Only, Automated Attendant, or Fax extensions.
Users and callers can use up to a 10-letter Directory Listing to address or transfer calls. The System Manager has the capability to record a name and program the Directory Listing for any extension. However, if the System Manager does not record a name for Mailbox extensions, mailbox users are forced to record a name the first time they log in to their mailbox. Mailbox users do not have the capability to program the Directory Listing for their extension.

Administer Directory Listing or Recorded Name, then do the following: |

• Record name; then after recording, press 1 and choose one of the following: |

– Approve name. |

• Administer Directory Listing. |

• Select Directory Listing, then enter up to first ten letters of name. |
