System terminates recording of a name, greeting, message, or an Automated Attendant Main Menu, Submenu or Announcement before the user finishes.

  Possible Cause Corrective Action
  Recording may have reached the time limit set for it. Be sure the recording does not exceed the time limit, then re-record it.
  Speaker’s voice sounded like a Touch-Tone digit. Re-record the message.


Caller hears a busy signal when calling into Voice Mail Service.

  Possible Cause Corrective Action
  All ports are in use or maintenance is being performed on the PARTNER Messaging module. Try again later. If the condition persists, call Carroll Communications at 732-751-0101.


The first part of a Menu, Submenu, Announcement, or Personal Greeting is cut off.

  Possible Cause Corrective Action
  You may have begun recording too early. Re-record, speaking after the beep ends.


Messages cannot be left in a user’s voice mailbox.

  Possible Cause Corrective Action
  Voice mailbox is full or system is full. Delete messages that are no longer needed from the mailbox.
  Mailbox is set for Answer-Only Mode. Set mailbox for Record Mode.


Mailbox Sizes range from 5 to 180 minutes or 120 messages. The message capacity of PARTNER Messaging is 100 hours. If a user frequently hears “Mailbox 80% Full” or “Mailbox Full,” the System Manager may want to increase the storage size of the user’s voice mailbox.
