IP Office Contact Store

Configuring Recordings


The type of calls that are to be recorded need to be configured in IP Office Manager before ContactStore can be used to store the recordings.

The details that can be configured in IP Office Manager are:

Users.

Groups.

Incoming Call Routes.

Outgoing Account Calls.

IP Office supports a maximum of 9 digit extensions. ContactStore only supports a maximum of 7 digit extensions. To enable full search capability ensure you set a maximum extension limit of 7 when using the ContactStore.

To configure a User to use the ContactStore Voice Recording Library:

  1. Open the IP Office Manager application.
  2. In the Navigation pane click User and select the individual user.
  3. View the Voice Recording tab.
  4. Check the Voice Recording Library (Auto) to enable Automatic voice recording to ContactStore or Voice Recording Library (Manual) to enable Manual voice recordings to utilize the ContactStore.
  5. Click OK to save the changes.
  6. Amend any other details, then save the configuration file.

To configure a Group to use the ContactStore Voice Recording Library:

  1. Open the IP Office Manager application.
  2. In the Navigation pane click HuntGroup and select the hunt group.
  3. View the Voice Recording tab.

  4. Check Voice Recording Library to enable voice recording to ContactStore.
  5. Click OK to save the changes.
  6. Amend any other details, then save the configuration file.

To configure an Account code to use the ContactStore Voice Recording Library:

  1. Open the IP Office Manager application.
  2. In the Navigation pane click Account Code and select the Account Code.
  3. View the Voice Recording tab.
  4. Check Voice Recording Library to enable voice recording to ContactStore.
  5. Click OK to save the changes.
  6. Amend any other details, then save the configuration file.

To configure an Incoming Call Route to use the ContactStore Voice Recording Library:

  1. Open the IP Office Manager application.
  2. In the Navigation pane click Incoming Call Route and select the line group ID.
  3. View the Voice Recording tab.
  4. Check Voice Recording Library to enable voice recording to ContactStore.
  5. Click OK to save the changes.
  6. Amend any other details, then save the configuration file.

Note
Incoming Call Route recording is only available in IP Office 4.0 and above.
