Administrator Mode
The SoftConsole can be started in Administrator mode. When run in this mode there is no access to telephony functions.
To Run the SoftConsole in Administrator Mode

At the Login screen enter:

Start the SoftConsole in Administrator mode.

From the File menu select Change Administrator Password.

Enter the old password which will show as asterisks.

Enter the new password. Make a note of the new password being careful regarding capitalization as the password is case sensitive. The password will appear as asterisks.

Enter the new password again to confirm and click OK.
There are predefined templates supplied. New templates can also be created.

At the SoftConsole login screen select a predefined template.

Login as Administrator.

Make changes as required.

Save the new template from the File menu, Save Template as option.

Enter a name for the template and click OK.
When running the SoftConsole in Administror mode, from the View menu you are able to display or remove the following panels.

BLF Panel.
-
Held Calls Panel.
-
Park Slots Panel.

At the SoftConsole login screen select the user profile you want to edit

Login as Administrator.

Make changes as required

Save the profile from the File menu, Save Profile option.
Specify the maximum length of Call Notes. The default is 16 characters. This can be increased but longer notes may not be display fully on some phones and applications.

Start the SoftConsole in Administrator mode.

Select options.
-
Select the Keyboard Actions tab.

Set the Call Notes length as required.
