125: Using Static IP Address on Spectralink terminals instead of
DHCP assigned addresses

When assigning a static IP address to a Spectralink terminal, ensure that the IP address is blank under the VoIP tab on the extension form for the appropriate user.
DO NOT enter the static wireless phone IP address in this field; if an IP address is entered in this field, the terminal will not correctly register with the Avaya IP Office system - only enter the IP address on the wireless phone.
